I’m reminded of a time when Rolls Royce tried to argue that they didn’t need to meet passenger car emissions requirements because the gross weight of the vehicle in question exceeded 6,000 lbs and therefore should be classified in a category, like commercial trucks, with less stringent requirements. Even though the handful of vehicles sold would have a negligible impact on global emissions, the government thankfully said ‘no’. I’ll be happy to reverse my position when RR starts building the vehicle below in significant quantities:
